Abstract

: This article explores the philosophical essence and scientific development of social gerontology in Uzbekistan. It discusses the role of aging in human life, the contribution of national scholars, and the interdisciplinary nature of gerontology. Special attention is paid to the classification of aging types based on I.S. Kon’s theory, and the social implications of aging in modern society.
