Artificial intelligence is increasingly becoming part of educational practice, particularly in language learning and teaching. AI-powered systems can provide immediate feedback, generate examples, support individualized practice, and assist teachers with lesson preparation. At the same time, their use raises questions concerning academic integrity, accuracy, learner autonomy, and the role of teachers. This article examines the educational uses of artificial intelligence from a language-learning perspective. It discusses personalized learning, writing support, conversational practice, assessment, teacher assistance, and responsible classroom use. The discussion emphasizes that AI is most productive when treated as an educational tool rather than as a replacement for human interaction or pedagogical judgment. The article concludes that effective integration requires clear learning objectives, critical evaluation of AI-generated content, and explicit instruction in responsible digital practices.
