THE TRANSLATOR'S ARTISTIC SKILLS IN THE NOVEL "DAY AND NIGHT" BY CHOLPON AND ITS TRANSLATION INTO ENGLISH

This work analyzes the translator's artistic skills and his translation into English based on Cholpon's novel "Night and Day". The work examines the main artistic features of the novel, including metaphor, symbol, personification, and psychological imagery. The complexities that arise during the translation process, including the limitations of literal translation, the preservation of symbolic layers, and the transmission of the author's tone, are highlighted. The annotated examples analyze the translator's creative decisions and methods of recreating artistic images in English. The results show that the translation process is not only a product of linguistic, but also aesthetic and cultural thinking, and the translator acts as an equal creator with the author.
