Abstract

This study examines the representation of happiness and personal fulfillment in Jillian Hart’s “Almost Heaven” from a lexico-semantic and stylistic perspective. The research focuses on emotionally marked vocabulary, figurative expressions, and stylistic devices such as metaphor, simile, dialogue, and narrative pacing. These linguistic elements reveal the characters’ emotional states, inner conflicts, and processes of self-realization. The analysis demonstrates that Hart’s careful use of language enhances emotional depth and shapes readers’ perception of happiness and fulfillment in contemporary romance fiction.
