Abstract

Motivation plays a crucial role in the process of language learning and significantly influences learners’ success. Students who are highly motivated tend to participate actively, practice regularly, and achieve better results in acquiring a foreign language. This article examines the concept of motivation in language learning, its types, and its impact on learners’ achievement. It also discusses practical strategies teachers can use to enhance learners’ motivation in the classroom. The study highlights that both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation are essential for effective language learning.
