Abstract

This paper discusses the main advantages and disadvantages of distance learning in modern education. It highlights important benefits such as flexibility, accessibility, and cost-effectiveness. The study also examines key challenges including limited interaction, technical difficulties, and the need for strong self-discipline. The purpose is to provide a balanced understanding of how distance learning influences students, teachers, and the overall learning process. The findings show that distance learning can be effective when supported with proper technology, motivated learners, and well-planned instructional strategies.
