DEVELOPMENT OF THE MEDICAL SYSTEM IN THE REGIONS OF THE ZARAFSHAN OASIS IN 2017–2020 AND THE RESULTS OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

This article analyzes the medical reforms implemented in the regions of the Zarafshan oasis. In particular, the “Health Train” program, the activities of specialists from the Republican Specialized Centers, visits of foreign specialists, and surgical operations performed on the basis of high technologies are widely covered. Also, the construction and preparatory work carried out to improve the healthcare infrastructure, the process of equipping with medical equipment, and the activities of private clinics opened on the basis of foreign investments are analyzed.
