This article examines key approaches to teaching academic writing in foreign language learning. It explores the process-based, genre-based, product-based, task-based, cognitive, and socio-cultural approaches, analyzing their principles, benefits, and limitations.
While some methods focus on structure and accuracy, others emphasize process, real-world tasks, or cultural context. The study concludes that a blended approach combining multiple strategies is the most effective for developing academic writing skills. This research offers valuable insights for educators and researchers in language education.
