This study investigates effective methods utilized in teaching foreign languages and explains how they aid in language acquisition and retention. Employing effective methods such as the direct method, communicative method, task-based teaching, and technology integration is considered paramount in making lessons more productive, enhancing learners’ language proficiency, and meeting learners’ needs. A variety of methods, including surveying language learners and observing teachers using interactive techniques, were employed. Findings suggest that using the direct method, communicative approach, and others plays a crucial role in developing and improving language skills more quickly than traditional methods. Additionally, the integration of technology has transformed language learning, providing students with innovative tools to practice and enhance their skills. The insights gained from this research can be applied in foreign language classrooms to promote engagement, improve teaching effectiveness, and support learners in achieving fluency and confidence in the target language.
