THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE THEORY OF THE LITERARY IMAGE IN UZBEK LITERARY STUDIES

This article examines the historical and theoretical development of the concept of the literary image in Uzbek literary studies. The literary image is considered one of the fundamental categories of literary theory through which reality, human character, social relations, psychological states, and the author’s aesthetic worldview are represented in an artistic form. The study analyzes the evolution of theoretical approaches to the literary image from traditional understandings of artistic representation to modern interpretations based on poetics, structural analysis, narratology, hermeneutics, and comparative literary studies.References
