Student participation is one of the key indicators of effective language learning. Traditional teacher-centered approaches often limit learners' opportunities to communicate, collaborate, and develop practical language skills. Interactive teaching methods, however, promote active engagement, critical thinking, communication, and learner autonomy. This study investigates the role of interactive methods in enhancing students' active participation in English language teaching. A qualitative research approach based on literature analysis and comparative evaluation was employed. The findings demonstrate that interactive strategies such as group discussions, role-playing, problem-based learning, games, collaborative learning, and digital interactive platforms significantly improve students' motivation, confidence, communicative competence, and classroom participation. The study concludes that integrating interactive methods into English language instruction creates a learner-centered environment that facilitates meaningful language acquisition and improves educational outcomes.
