This scientific thesis is devoted to the development of fundamental design principles for software aimed at developing 21st century skills (based on the 4K model). The research analyzes modern educational requirements, the essence of 4K skills, as well as the pedagogical and technical aspects of educational software design. The proposed system of principles includes learner-centeredness, interactivity and active participation, personalization, collaboration and social learning, interdisciplinary integration, assessment and feedback, flexibility and extensibility, and gamification. These principles serve as a theoretical and practical foundation for designing educational software that develops 21st century skills in academic lyceums.
