Abstract

Effective training load planning is essential for optimizing performance, recovery, and long-term athletic development in elite female weightlifters. This study reviews recent scientific evidence on periodization, individualized load management, recovery strategies, and monitoring technologies used in high-performance weightlifting. The analysis highlights the importance of balancing training volume and intensity while considering physiological adaptations and athlete-specific responses. Modern monitoring methods, including objective and subjective indicators, improve training precision and reduce the risk of overtraining and injury. The findings emphasize the need for evidence-based, individualized approaches that enhance competitive performance and support the sustainable development of elite female weightlifters.
