This study investigates the impact of Task-Based Learning (TBL) on the development of oral communication skills among language learners. The study focuses on how task-oriented activities, such as problem-solving, role-plays, and real-life simulations, encourage meaningful interaction and improve fluency, accuracy, and confidence in speaking. The findings indicate that Task Based Learning (TBL) creates a supportive and interactive learning environment where students are encouraged to express ideas freely and reduce anxiety in speaking situations. In addition, it supports the development of pragmatic competence by exposing learners to authentic communicative contexts. Therefore, Task-Based Learning proves to be an effective pedagogical approach for improving oral proficiency and developing communicative competence in language education.
