Early childhood education serves as a fundamental stage in the lifelong learning process and significantly influences children's intellectual, emotional, social, and physical growth. Across the world, developed nations have introduced comprehensive reforms aimed at increasing access to preschool services while enhancing educational quality and effectiveness. This article examines contemporary approaches to preschool education development in several advanced countries, including Finland, France, Germany, South Korea, and Sweden. The study focuses on policy initiatives, institutional frameworks, curriculum innovations, and teacher preparation systems that have contributed to the successful expansion of early childhood education. The analysis reveals that countries with highly developed preschool sectors prioritize inclusiveness, child-centered learning, professional teacher training, and strong governmental support. The findings suggest that strategic investment in preschool education contributes to educational equity, human capital formation, and sustainable socio-economic development.
