Ushbu maqolada English-Uzbek ketma-ket tarjimada (consecutive interpreting) yuzaga keladigan kognitiv jarayonlar idrok, diqqat, ishchi xotira va ma'no qayta ishlash mexanizmlari hamda ushbu jarayonlarni qiyinlashtiradigan asosiy omillar: tez nutq, uzun segmentlar, raqamlar, terminlar, sintaktik-leksik nomuvofiqliklar, pragmatik-madaniy to'siqlar va stress omillari tadqiq etiladi. Shuningdek, kognitiv yuklamani kamaytirish uchun qo'llaniladigan note-taking (eslatma olish), segmentatsiya, parafraz, monitoring, self-repair va kompensatsion strategiyalar tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqot natijalari tarjimonlik ta'limida kognitiv boshqaruv ko'nikmalarini rivojlantirishga qaratilgan metodik tavsiyalar bilan yakunlanadi.
