ARTISTIC INTERPRETATION OF HISTORICAL PERSONAL NAMES IN THE NOVEL “AMIR TEMUR”

Abstract

This article analyzes the anthroponyms used in the novel Amir Temur by Bo‘riboy Ahmedov. The study examines the personal names mentioned in the historical events described in the work, their origin, meaning, and artistic function. In particular, the semantic features and literary role of the names of historical figures such as Amir Temur, Amir Qazag‘an, Qozonxon, Tarag‘oy Bahodir, and Bayankulixon are discussed. The research shows that the anthroponyms in the novel serve not only as identifiers of historical figures but also play an important linguopoetic role in creating the historical atmosphere of the work and revealing the characters’ personalities.
