Abstract

This article examines the linguistic portrayal of the elements of water and fire in the English-speaking world. By analyzing metaphors, idioms, and symbolic representations, the study highlights the role of these elements in shaping human perception of emotions, conflict, and transformation. The study also analyzes how these concepts shape human perception of emotions, behaviors, and relationships through the lens of cognitive linguistics and metaphor theory.
