Abstract

the article examines the stylistic and semantic features of phraseological expressions in literary works. Phraseological units contribute to imagery, rhythm, and emotional depth, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of literary texts. The study analyzes the context-dependent nature of these expressions, their potential substitution by synonymous constructions, and their metaphorical and emotional meanings. Particular attention is given to the role of phraseological expressions in shaping the author’s individual style, character portrayal, and narrative development. The findings demonstrate that phraseological units enrich literary texts not only semantically but also stylistically, serving as an important expressive resource in literary discourse.
