THE IMPORTANCE OF INTERACTIVE METHODS IN TEACHING ENGLISH

This article analyzes the role and importance of interactive methods in teaching English. Interactive methods are highlighted as an important tool in ensuring students' active participation in the lesson process, developing their communicative skills, and increasing their interest in language learning. The article provides detailed information about the main types of interactive methods - brainstorming, role-playing, debate, group work, and question-answer methods. Additionally, the effectiveness of modern technologies, particularly interactive game platforms such as Kahoot!, in the language learning process is analyzed. The author also examines the difficulties that arise in applying interactive methods and ways to overcome them. At the end of the article, conclusions are drawn about the advantages of interactive methods compared to traditional teaching methods and their positive impact on students' learning process
