THE SOCIAL AND PEDAGOGICAL ESSENCE OF PATRIOTIC EDUCATION

This article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the social and pedagogical essence of patriotic education. It раскрывает the content of the concept of patriotism, its role in personal development, its social significance in the development of society, and its functional tasks within the system of education and upbringing. The article highlights the close interconnection between patriotic education and the activities of social institutions, and describes pedagogical mechanisms for shaping civic responsibility, national values, and social activity among young people.
