EDUCATION AND COMPETITIVENESS IN UZBEKISTAN: IS THE SYSTEM REACHING THE INTERNATIONAL LEVEL?

This article analyzes recent reforms in the education system of Uzbekistan, focusing on educational quality and competitiveness. Particular attention is paid to the participation of higher education institutions in international rankings, the establishment of foreign university branches, the implementation of the credit-modular system, and the widespread use of digital education technologies. The study highlights the integration of Uzbekistan’s education system into the global educational space and its capacity to train competitive human capital under conditions of global competition. Furthermore, the article discusses the potential for achieving innovative development through strengthening competition in education.
