Abstract

Paraphrasing and summarizing are important skills for students because they help us use information from different sources without copying. These skills show how well we understand a text and how clearly we can explain ideas in our own words. This paper discusses what paraphrasing and summarizing mean, how they differ, and why they are necessary for academic writing.
