Abstract

Supplementary materials and activities play a vital role in enhancing the teaching and learning process. They support the main textbook, enrich the curriculum, and provide learners with opportunities to develop language skills through authentic, engaging, and meaningful experiences. This paper discusses the importance of selecting appropriate supplementary materials and activities, their role in learner motivation and engagement, and the teacher’s responsibility in adapting them to suit learners’ needs and proficiency levels.
