This article explores the impact of social media on the English language—examining the emergence of new words and phrases, grammatical and orthographic shifts, the increasing informality of communication, and its cultural and educational implications. The study also investigates how digital communication reshapes linguistic norms, user literacy, and the evolution of global English in the era of online interaction.
