The article examines the pedagogical opportunities for developing interethnic communication skills among primary school pupils through the integration of moral content. In the context of globalization and increasing multiculturalism, education systems face the challenge of cultivating tolerance, empathy, and respect for diversity from an early age. The paper analyzes theoretical approaches to moral education, identifies strategies for incorporating moral content into teaching, and highlights the role of teachers in fostering intercultural understanding. Practical methods such as value-based dialogues, cooperative learning, and narrative pedagogy are discussed as effective tools for enhancing pupils’ ethical competences. The study concludes that moral content serves not only as a foundation for character building but also as a catalyst for interethnic dialogue in primary education.
