The role of national traditions and values in the development of modern Uzbek visual arts is a significant area of artistic and cultural exploration. This study examines how contemporary Uzbek artists incorporate national customs, heritage, and symbols into their works, blending traditional elements with innovative artistic expressions. The research explores the ways in which art serves as a medium for preserving and transmitting cultural identity while reflecting the evolving socio-political landscape of Uzbekistan. It highlights the role of symbolism, folklore, and local aesthetic principles in shaping the visual narratives of modern Uzbek artists, fostering a dialogue between the past and the present. Through an analysis of specific works and artistic movements, this study provides insight into the evolving relationship between tradition and modernity in the context of Uzbek visual arts.
