Abstract

In this article the author tried to find out the effectiveness of technology used in foreign language teaching and learning process. The case conducted with the 2nd year students of Foreign languages and Literature department of Foreign Philology Faculty in National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulug‘bek during teaching and learning process. Descriptive qualitative method was used in this article. The observation was used as an instrument to observe students’ motivation and interest. The result of this case shows that students are highly motivated and interested when the classes conducted by using technology: projector, laptop, speaker, internet, power point, e-mail, social media activities, YouTube, podcast and blogging. Based on the result of the case, it can be concluded that the use of technology is effective in learning and teaching process.
