Abstract

The article discusses the key stages of developing a methodology for using authentic materials in teaching German to future nurses. It emphasizes the importance of working with real medical texts, documents, and video materials to build professional language competence. The benefits of using authentic materials are highlighted, including the development of critical thinking, contextual learning, and increased student motivation. Examples of educational tasks aimed at developing various language skills, as well as role-playing and patient communication simulations, are provided.
