Ushbu maqolada keng ko‘lamli o‘qishning so‘z boyligini oshirishdagi o‘rni ko‘rib chiqiladi. Bu mavzuning muhim sababi shundaki, til o‘rganuvchi o‘quvchi yoki talabalar keng ko‘lamdagi ilmiy adabiyotlar yoki badiiy asarlar o‘qisa, ularning fikrlash doirasi va so‘z boyligi oshadi. Shuni ta’kidlash kerakki, so‘z boyligini oshirish oson emas. Ba'zi til o‘rganuvchi o‘quvchi va talabalarning xotirasi zaif bo‘lishi yoki ummuman eslab qololmasligi ham mumkin. Ammo bu muammo, hamma til o‘rganuvchilarda kuzatilmaydi.Til o‘rganishni hohlagan o‘quvchi, so‘z boyligini oshirish va rivojlantirish uchun, avvalo, miya faoliyatini va xotirani rivojlantirishi lozim.
