Abstract

The widespread growth of digital technologies has significantly reshaped the way people communicate. This study explores the impact of digital communication on modern language by analyzing changes in linguistic structure, the development of new vocabulary, and the communicative techniques used on social networking sites, messaging applications, and online discussion platforms. The research highlights trends in language innovation, multimodal communication, and the formation of personal and social identities in digital environments. The findings indicate that digital communication promotes creativity, adaptability, and efficiency, while simultaneously posing challenges to established grammatical conventions and formal writing practices. The study also considers the implications of these developments for language education, literacy skills, and future sociolinguistic research.
