Abstract

In the era of globalization, intercultural communication has become a fundamental component of professional and academic interaction. This article examines the role of sociocultural factors in shaping pragmatic competence, particularly in the context of foreign language education. Special attention is given to the differences between English and Uzbek communicative behaviors and their impact on business communication. The study highlights the importance of integrating cultural awareness into language teaching methodologies and proposes a comprehensive framework for enhancing students’ communicative effectiveness.
