CHATGPT IN UZBEK LANGUAGE: OPPORTUNITIES AND LIMITATIONS

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has rapidly transformed education, communication, and access to information worldwide. ChatGPT, an AI language model developed by OpenAI, offers significant opportunities for language learning, content creation, and interactive communication in multiple languages, including Uzbek. This study investigates the advantages and limitations of using ChatGPT in the Uzbek language. A qualitative research method was employed, reviewing scholarly articles, user experiences, and AI reports. Findings indicate that ChatGPT enhances language learning, facilitates communication, and assists in content creation. However, limitations include occasional inaccuracies, lack of cultural understanding, and dependency on internet access. The study emphasizes the importance of guided and responsible use of AI tools for effective outcomes in the Uzbek linguistic context.
