Ushbu maqola tibbiyot amaliyotida fiziologiyaning asosiy roli masalasiga bag'ishlangan. Fiziologiyaning xususiyatlari , uning rivojlanish yo'nalishlari ko'rsatilgan. Rus an'analariga e'tibor qaratgan holda fiziologiya fanining qisqacha rivojlanishi tarixi berilgan. Fiziologiyaning tibbiyotdagi asosiy roli haqida buyuk fiziologlarning fikrlari keltirilgan. Shifokor va bemor o'rtasidagi munosabatlarning fiziologik mexanizmlari tavsiflanadi. Quyidagilarning barchasi fiziologiya klinik tibbiyot uchun nafaqat nazariy bilimlarni, balki umuman tibbiy amaliyot uchun falsafiy asosni ham beradi, degan xulosaga kelishimizga imkon beradi.
