Abstract

This annotation analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of online education. Online learning, organized based on modern information and communication technologies, provides learners with flexibility in terms of time and location, opportunities for independent study, and effective use of various digital resources. In addition, distance education helps reduce costs and supports the individualization of the learning process. However, online education also has certain drawbacks, such as the lack of face-to-face interaction, technical issues, difficulties related to internet speed and quality, and a decrease in learning effectiveness when learners have low levels of self-discipline. The annotation examines these aspects from a scientific and theoretical perspective and emphasizes the importance of improving the effectiveness of online education,
