This study critically evaluates the translation techniques employed in rendering foreign words from English into Uzbek, a process complicated by linguistic and cultural disparities. Through qualitative analysis of scholarly literature, translation samples, and professional insights, the research identifies key techniques including transference, naturalization, calque, cultural substitution, and omission. The findings highlight the contextual suitability, advantages, and limitations of each method, emphasizing the need for a balanced, flexible approach. The study underscores the importance of translator training, cultural literacy, and ongoing professional development to enhance translation quality and facilitate effective cross-cultural communication.
