This article examines the communicative aspect of lexical lacunarity, focusing on the theoretical perspectives, practical strategies, and challenges involved in translating lacunae. Through various translation methods such as substitution, adaptation, expansion, and re-creation, this article explores how translators address these gaps and recreate content while preserving the original meaning, tone, and cultural context.
