Abstract

This article offers an extensive examination of various modern methods for teaching English as a second language, exploring both traditional techniques, like the Grammar Translation and Direct Method, and newer approaches such as Communicative Language Teaching, Task-Based Learning, and Content and Language Integrated Learning. In addition, it highlights the use of technology, which has become integral to language teaching, offering tools that enhance interactivity and student engagement. By assessing these methodologies, the article aims to support teachers in selecting the most appropriate strategies to meet their students’ needs.
