Abstract

This article explores a variety of innovative methodologies for teaching English as a second language (ESL), emphasizing the need to adapt to modern educational contexts. The effectiveness of language instruction largely depends on implementing diverse strategies that enhance student engagement, critical thinking, and communicative competencies. This paper examines approaches such as Task-Based Learning (TBL), Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), technology integration, and differentiated instruction. These methods aim to improve language proficiency by fostering an interactive learning environment that motivates students to actively participate. The role of personalized learning and collaborative activities in achieving language fluency is also discussed.
