EFFECTIVENESS OF GAMIFICATION IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING

The use of gamification in English language learning (ELL) has gained increasing attention in recent years due to its potential to enhance learner engagement, motivation, and language acquisition. This article explores the effectiveness of gamification techniques in ELL, highlighting their impact on learner participation, skill development, and long-term retention. The article suggests that gamification not only improves learners' language skills but also fosters a positive attitude toward language learning. However, challenges remain in effectively integrating these tools into traditional classroom settings, especially in terms of balancing game mechanics with educational objectives.
