Abstract

Nukus, the capital of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in Uzbekistan, possesses significant potential for the development of cultural, historical, educational, and ecological tourism. The city's most prominent attraction is the I.V. Savitsky State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, internationally recognized for its collections of Russian avant-garde art, Karakalpak folk art, and archaeological artifacts. In addition to the museum, Nukus and its surrounding region offer diverse tourism resources, including the Berdakh Museum, historical and archaeological sites, traditional handicrafts, and the landscapes of the Aral Sea region. These attractions create opportunities to develop integrated tourism products, attract international visitors, increase tourism revenues, and support local entrepreneurship.
