Abstract

Digital transformation has become an important direction in the modernization of primary healthcare systems. The integration of electronic health records, telemedicine, mobile health applications, clinical decision-support systems, remote patient monitoring, artificial intelligence and health data analytics creates new opportunities for improving accessibility, quality and continuity of healthcare services. At the same time, digital transformation is associated with technological, organizational, financial, human-resource and ethical challenges. This thesis examines modern approaches to the digital transformation of primary healthcare, identifies major barriers to implementation and discusses prospects for sustainable development. Particular attention is given to interoperability, digital competencies of healthcare professionals, patient-centered design, data security and the integration of digital technologies into existing clinical workflows. The analysis demonstrates that successful digital transformation requires not only technological modernization but also organizational change, appropriate regulation, sustainable financing and active participation of healthcare professionals and patients.
