THE IMPORTANCE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TOOLS IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed educational processes worldwide. In language education, AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, Duolingo, and intelligent tutoring systems provide learners with personalized learning experiences, immediate feedback, and interactive learning environments. This study investigates the importance of artificial intelligence tools in English language learning and examines their impact on students’ language skills development. The findings indicate that AI technologies enhance learners’ motivation, improve language proficiency, and support autonomous learning. However, certain challenges, including overreliance on technology and concerns regarding academic integrity, remain important considerations. The study concludes that the effective integration of AI tools into English language teaching can significantly improve educational outcomes.
