Abstract

The article investigates negation in English and Uzbek media discourse from linguocultural and linguocognitive perspectives. Negation is analyzed not only as a grammatical category but also as a cognitive and cultural mechanism reflecting national thinking patterns, communicative norms, and evaluative attitudes.
