EARLY DIAGNOSIS OF DENTAL DISEASES AND ITS IMPORTANCE

Dental diseases are among the most common pathologies of the oral cavity, teeth, and surrounding tissues, often asymptomatic at early stages. Such delayed diagnosis leads to severe complications, complex treatments, and high costs. This article analyzes the importance of early detection of dental diseases (caries, pulpitis, gingivitis, periodontitis, etc.), modern diagnostic methods, and preventive measures. Particular emphasis is placed on early diagnosis of caries in children and adolescents, identification of initial signs of periodontal diseases, and prevention through regular dental check-ups. The study also discusses the facilitation of patient health restoration, reduction of physician workload, and economic efficiency for the healthcare system through early diagnosis. Integration with other medical fields (e.g., therapy, endocrinology) highlights the need for a systematic approach to dental disease assessment. The article concludes with recommendations and advanced practices for early diagnosis.
