Abstract

This study investigates the correlation between contusions—blunt force trauma to the eye—and the resulting damage to the cornea in cases of traumatic eye injuries. By analyzing clinical data and imaging results, the research aims to clarify how the severity and location of contusions influence the extent and type of corneal injury. Understanding this relationship is critical for early diagnosis, effective treatment, and improved prognosis in patients suffering from ocular trauma. The findings contribute valuable insights into the mechanisms of injury and highlight the importance of protective measures and timely intervention to prevent permanent vision impairment.
