THE WAYS OF IMPROVING READING AND WRITING

Writing and reading rely on many of the same abilities. The foundational information for spelling and single-word reading is the same, so teaching and practicing one should help the other. For example, when kids read and write the same words, it strengthens their ability to connect sounds to form words. Additionally, teaching writing skills, such as grammar and spelling, strengthens reading comprehension, and writing education enhances reading comprehension. According to research, the greatest way to develop reading and writing skills is to teach and practice them simultaneously.
